Let's talk about your next project

Whether you need a portrait session, documentation of a cultural event, or editorial coverage for a publication, I'm available for commissions in Cape Town and beyond. Tell me about the story you want to tell, and we'll figure out the rest together.

Tell me about the shoot you have in mind

Before we talk dates and rates, I need to understand the context. Portrait sessions, event coverage, and documentary work each ask for a different approach, and the details matter more than you might expect.

A few questions help me prepare properly: who is the subject, where will the shoot happen, and what will the images be used for? If you are unsure about any of this, that is fine. We can figure it out together.

Project eligibility check

Share the basics and I will confirm whether the project fits my current schedule and working style.

I usually reply within two working days. If the project is a good fit, we will set up a short call to go over the details.

How to Reach Me

Email is the quickest way to get a response, usually within one working day. For time-sensitive requests, such as festival coverage or event documentation, a phone call is better. Please have the date and location ready so we can confirm availability right away.

Studio location and getting here

The studio sits in the heart of the city, close to public transport and easy to reach by car or on foot. If you are coming for a portrait session or to discuss a documentary project, you will find the building just off the main road, with parking available on the side street.

For editorial collaborations or event coverage inquiries, the same address applies. I usually reply within two working days, and most initial conversations happen over email before we set up a call.

Directions and practical notes

By car

Take the main road toward the city center and turn at the traffic light next to the old post office. The studio building is the third entrance on your left. Visitor parking is available behind the building; press the intercom at the back gate and mention you have an appointment.

By public transport

The nearest bus stop is a five-minute walk from the studio, and the train station is about fifteen minutes on foot. If you are coming from the suburbs, the morning service runs every twenty minutes, so plan a little extra time for delays.

Accessibility

The studio is on the ground floor with no steps at the main entrance. The restroom is accessible, and there is enough space to move around with a wheelchair or mobility aid. Let me know in advance if you need anything specific for your visit.

What to expect

When you arrive for a portrait session, we will start with a short conversation about the look you want, then move into the shooting area. Sessions typically run between one and two hours, depending on the number of setups and whether we use natural light or studio lighting.
