The conditions below describe how the portfolio, project documentation, and contact services on this site are offered. By browsing or commissioning work, you agree to the terms set out here.
Pierre Saffi operates as an independent photography studio providing editorial portraits, documentary series, event coverage, and visual documentation for artists and small brands. Each commission is defined by a written brief agreed upon before work begins. The brief outlines the subject, intended use of images, delivery format, and timeline.
The site presents selected work for reference. It does not guarantee that past projects will be repeated in identical form, as each assignment depends on location, light, and the people involved.
Clients are responsible for providing accurate information about the subject, location access, and any permissions required for photographing people or private spaces. For events and public documentation, the client confirms that consent has been obtained where necessary.
If a session is rescheduled, notice should be given at least 48 hours in advance. Late changes may affect availability and delivery dates.
Delivered photographs are licensed for the specific purpose stated in the commission brief. Editorial use, commercial use, and personal use are treated separately. Any use beyond the agreed scope, including reproduction in third-party media or alteration of images, requires written approval.
The studio retains the right to display commissioned work in its portfolio unless a written exclusivity agreement is in place.
Edited images are delivered digitally in the format agreed in the brief. Standard delivery occurs within two to three weeks after the session, depending on the volume of work. One round of minor revisions is included for portrait commissions. Major changes to the brief after the session may incur additional time.
The studio takes reasonable care in handling and storing all files. However, clients are advised to keep their own backups of delivered images. The studio is not liable for indirect damages arising from the use of photographs, including missed opportunities or reputational concerns related to third-party decisions.
Technical limitations, such as weather during outdoor sessions or restricted access to a venue, may affect the final set. In such cases, the studio will discuss alternatives before proceeding.
Either party may end a commission with written notice before the session date. If the client cancels, any deposit paid is non-refundable unless the cancellation is due to circumstances covered by the brief. Once work is delivered and accepted, the agreement is considered complete.
These terms may be updated to reflect changes in how the studio operates or to comply with legal requirements. The current version will always be available on this page. Continued use of the site after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
